• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thought for the day.....

The problems we
face today are
there because the people who work
for a living are
outnumbered by those
who vote for a living.

I came over here in the early seventies as a musician but my "real" work was as a mechanical engineer.
I was born in '44 and I'd seen a good deal of the world and America offered the most opportunity for any form of personal advancement.
I don't see that too much today.:(
But that one line in V for Vendetta about "government should be afraid of the People" rings so true.
Don't you wish that you could say to your "elected official": "You did a lousy job so I'm not going to reward you financially."
I thought that banks were supposed to be a repositary for the People's Money not an Organisation, the failure of which could wreak havoc upon our financial and social systems.

I may be an Utopian and I love Ayn Rand but that's just me.

But we do have one thing in common.......we love our Spyders with a passion and each one of us cares about our three wheeled friends.....all others, we tolerate.:)

Amen amen.
And kudos on V for Vendetta. Great movie!

And Guess what???

Which means that the people who pay taxes are outnumbered by the people who don't.

Hey John,
We all know it's inevitable.... "They're gonna come for more".....
Hmm... Wasn't the premise behind the original Boston Tea Party... "Taxation without representation?"

RE: Taxes--I believe someone on the debates the other night remarked that only 43% of the people pay taxes.
