Those military belts

Look at the guy on the far right. He has one of those military belts that goes across the chest. What are those called? (and don't say, "military belt that goes across the chest") I have seen Marines wearing one similar with there Alpha uniforms. I assume its ceremonial.

Are you talking about the Sam Browne belt, the wide waist belt with an extra strap going across the wearers' right shoulder?

Yep, the diagonal strap with the wide belt is called a Sam Browne. When I first stated as a police officer, it was part of our uniform. But after a criminal used it to grab one of our guys and punch him in the face, we quit using the straps.
