• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This morning was my first time.............

This morning was my first ride with rider floor boards. :ohyea: To feed my farkeling addiction I purchased and installed a set on my 2012 RT Limited. Although they are not as slick looking as the ones I really want, they were much cheaper that the $1800 Vertikas. :2thumbs: I'm not into 'industrial' look most of the floorboards the site sponsors offer and didn't want to pay the high prices not knowing if I would like them. So I went with the less expensive ones offered by Inspector Gadget. I was surprised by the quality. Very nice for $155 and extremely easy to install. I had them installed on both sides in less than 10 minutes.

I like them.

I recently bought and installed the Gadget floorboards also. I was pleased at the price which I consider fair. Some of the other choices are just way too expensive for basically a piece of metal with some no skid applied to one side.

Thanks for the feedback but Teddy is a visual kinda dog, so .....

Congrats on the floorboards, high price doesn't make it the best.. Pic's, pic's..!!

inspector gadget floor bds

I have them also and you cant beat the price for a foot rest and they work just fine just not as fancy as the higher priced ones

Insp. Gadget

His were the first things I put on. Floor boards, heel&toe shift lever, forward thingys to get feet forward and a little higher (like pegs can do), shelf for the rear trunk and something else I can't remember. Super quality and workmanship at realistic dollars.

:cheers:Tuck

Go with what you can get and put a kitty aside for the great ones later, Vertika really makes the ride.

Here's the right foot board. The left one is the same except no cut out for the brake.

Well, good news. I sent an email, and got a response, as well as ridiculously fast service.
My foot plates are in the mail... :-)

I was not looking forward to the $500 price tag of a piece of steel.. so this is great

Looks good, The new 2013 RT floor boards looks and feel very well. They fit on 2012 RT according to the new catalog.

I really didn't want to hijack my own thread, but I will..................................

There are now several dozen posts stating that the 2013 RT boards will fit on prior models and there are just as many that say they will not fit. :dontknow: So, what is it? If they fit lets see some pictures, otherwise it's all a fairytail.

Floorboards are very good. They have allowed me to continue rydeing, since I have to move about a bit when rydeing in order to remain comfortable.

I have the Seals because they allow a bigger footprint area for me to move around. I don't mean to start a controversy or a brand war here. Just a statement that floorboards are good, and I like bigger footprint ones.

Now: back to the original subject. :roflblack:

And no panel removal?

DRB

Besides being economical, quick to install, you did not have to remove the first panel. Did you?
