• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is really happening!!!!

Stay safe

This is a truly ambitious trip!

Curious - there are two of you on the bike, you have no luggage rack and no trailer. You must really have packing down to a science! When I travel, I have to bring 6 toothbrushes,
4 jackets, a blender, 2 coolers, 3 pairs of shoes, one bookcase, 1 large aquarium, my pet goat, 3 coffee mugs, a mink coat, and a partridge in a pear tree....

Really looking forward to vicariously sharing this trip with you.

Lower 48

Go for it gang.

My riding buddy and I have been trying about the same thing since Spyderfest 2013, but couldn't do it without the 622 trailer. It's that 4 jackets and 3 pairs of shoes thing that OverHillAndDale mentioned.

Three years and 53K miles later, we've been in 40 of the lower 48 and three Canadian provinces. Come July we are heading for the New England area to hit those 8 states we still need. And we hate riding Interstates.

Yep...that was our goal to make it all fit on the bike...no trailer. Here are a couple of blog entries with how/what we packed. Definitely not a "fashion" trip...
