• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is killing me

If it ships like UPS then it will need to go to Alaska and then down to you:banghead:

My experience with UPS has actually been pretty good. I ordered something by ground from a vendor about a month ago. It arrived by 2nd day air--received in two days at the ground rate.:yes:

Pretty sure that the "funny" logistics have to do with certain hubs being major sorting terminals.

The airlines are also good for that. An upcoming trip--I have to fly Anchorage to Minneapolis, and then backtrack to Rapid City SD. The return trip, Rapid City--Salt Lake City--Anchorage. At least that is all in the right direction. :roflblack:

I found a cure for that many years ago
I always have at least one in my garage I have one Spyder and always several motorcycles
I am looking at a BMW at this time if the price is right it will join the stable.
Hurry out and get another ride ASAP or you will go nuts...:yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

It's because they use a hub and spoke system for much of their shipping. I believe TN is their main sorting facility.

I had a package come last December from Missouri to Idaho by way of Puerto Rico! I think the USPS plane got snagged by Santa's sleigh! :roflblack:

Adjusting for SM vs SE and RT-S vs. RT base, and adding in shipping, based on what the local dealer quoted me back in November, I'd say you got it for a d*** good price. He quoted me $17,700 for a base RT SE5, out of a crate in stock, purportedly at no markup.

It's being delivered ready to ride, correct? If so, they may be shipping via Haulbikes.com, so you'll need to be patient. Haulbikes specializes in hauling bikes, but they use a hub and spoke approach with the main terminal in Milwaukee, and another in York, PA. They don't make a run until they have truckload, which is probably pretty often now that it's spring. I waited just over a month to have the RT I bought used shipped from Wisconsin to Idaho last December.
