• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is a crazy question, fishing for opinions

Good question?
When 2 people are on it are both riders, and if so who's driving it?

Nope, the one on the passenger pillion is a passenger. You will see it on the release forms and sign up forms for most any sponsored rides.

The one at the controls is the operator.

Ryde on

:agree: Most people just don't know. We (Spyder Ryders) know that riding is the Spyder Lifestyle. So we ryde our Spyders.......

If you straddle it you're riding, if you sit upright with you feet on the floor--like in a chair position--you're driving.
I ride my horse, I drive my buggy.

I agree, always ride the Spyder and drive my truck. Here in Washington St. you are even required to have a three wheel endorsement on DL to operate one. three wheel endorsement is separate from two wheel MC endorsement. If you ride both, you have to have both.

As you can see, this board likes crazy questions!
As I see it, if it has a steering wheel I drive it - if not I ride it.

Okay. You all have me convinced. I will start rydeing my motorcycles and leave the driving to my car.  :firstplace:

Yeah.............. uh.........
