• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Guys, any Spyder owners around Northern Illinois? There are two dealerships nearby...Woodfields Motors and Nielsens. Did anyone use these or any other around northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin?

I am getting M class licence in 2 weeks but I might buy bike a bit before

I love snowmobiles so I hope Spyder works out well since I have never got used to Two wheel bikes....

Any Spyder owners in Nornern Chicago area?

Any help is welcome...thanks!

:welcome:

Check the FS by owner section. There is a new RS-S listing that you might get a great deal on. It is in the DFW area, but you can have it shipped up to you or fly down check it out and ride back. My previous Spyder was shipped from Dallas to Chicago area with no problems. Send me a PM and I can give you more details.

I am not the seller, but trying to help out two SpyderLover members!

Thanks to all...

I will report tomorrow. I am hoping to buy it tomorrow but they will need to set it up so I might not get in my possesion until Saturday or early next week.

I am very impressed with this forum...great group of folks!

I ended up buying a brand new RSS from Nielsens...Ted Nielsen personally took care of me and gave me a great deal...got a great service from others in the store as well.

His people are going to put it together and I should have it delivered directly to my house next week.... All i need is M licence to not get in trouble with the law :) I should have it in 2 weeks :ohyea: :spyder2:

I loved the acceleration on it so I can't wait to get on the open road soon....

Guys on the forum suggested to get BEST warranty so I paid a bit extra to protect myself in the future.

Thanks to you guys for advice!
