• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thinking of buying a 2021/22 F3

For those who own 2020 and newer F3 is an upgrade to a Baja Ron sway bar necessary or is the factory setup sufficient? Thanks in advance.

From a post on this subject yesterday, Ron reported that the OEM sway bars on the 20-21 RT and F3 models were the same at the '19 and earlier models. Draw your own conclusion although he did say that for the 20-21 RTs BRP had lowered the center of gravity of the machines.

Even if I don't have the new F3, I would tell you to put some miles on that new ride, THEN make your dissension to change out the sway bar! You may find out that it handles good enough for your liking, and riding style! Don't jump just because some one else did, it's like seats, some like this and some like that, but at the end of the day, your butt will tell you if you like it!!! Good luck with your research!!

I've purchased my 2020 F3L in April of this year. Purchased it used with 500 miles on it. It now has 10,900 miles. The sway bar and feel of the Spyder has been fine and don't have any plans on changing the sway bar currently. I suggest running it for a couple of months and decide for Your Self. I drive on highways and curving roads here in north Alabama and southern Tennessee without any complaints.

I have 21,500 on my 2015 F3 and did put the BajaRon links on recently which helps a lot. With the seating of the F3 I never really felt the need for it on hard corners. I had the Bar on my GS and RT for sure!
My assisted steering F3 feels touchy after I ride my Ryker because its 2 different methods of steering. You need to be smooth with the F3 and more hands on muscleing with the Ryker. I love them BOTH.

I have 4,200 km on my F3, I bought in June. I added the BajaRon swaybar and links about 6 weeks ago and I feel the highway ride is more stable and better cornering. I am glad I did the upgrade.

Have had 2020RTL and now 2022 F3L Special, Mountain, flat curve rough smooth roads of all kinds and bikes handle very well stock from factory.

I own a 21 F3. Put about 1500 miles on it before adding the BajaRon swaybar and end links. Super noticeable difference even going straight. It made the bike feel more grounded to the road and it doesn't make me feel like I am going to get tossed off on windy curves or even slight curves on the highway/freeway.

FYI, my original swaybar is only about 1/8" or so difference in diameter but I suspect it has to do with the tensile strength of the bar itself.
