So I have been thinking about trading in my 2012 RT for a 2013 RSS or ST. Has anyone does this and what are your thoughts? It is worth the move or should I just stay with the RT?
If it's sportier that you want; Does either PitBull or CowTown still offer their RT performance packages?
I've always believed that no matter how much make-up gets put on the pig; it'll never be a swan...![]()
...But you can end up with one very attractive pig! :2thumbs:
Now don't get me wrong. I love the RT for the "Pig" that it is and I have done a lot to it to make it "mine". So I guess that the question comes to mind is if no one has gone from the RT to the ST or RS-S. Those that have had or currently has both what one do you prefer and why? I know I will be loosing storage and such but the only big trips are only once per year. I do plan on taking them for a test drive if I can find a dealer in my area that has both in stock. The 2 that I talked to today only have the RS-S. Still leaves me to wonder about the ST. And most of the time I ride one up (still working on the wife to get her own).
I did not have a different Spyder, but have been riding my Harley since 2003. I just bought my ST Limited the end of May. I only have 1000 miles on it, but Love it. I don't feel that it really needs any mods. (although I added fog lights and a couple of others) It handles just fine. As far as heat, all of my bikes have had heat. Mine is not unbearable. I would recommend the ST to anyone.I Was considering trading my 2012 RT for a ST BUT after All the Suspension problems , Heat Problems and the fact that most are adding aftermarket shocks and Bars anyway because the UnAdjustable suspension is Soft and a "One Size Fits All Deal" I have decided to keep my Beautiful 2012 RT (Which is only 70 Pounds heavier than the ST???)
Of course I also have the GS if that make a difference.
