It is a beautiful day today here in Northern California. Just had to break out the Spyder and ride somewhere. Ended up going to get sandwiches for the wife and I. When I came out of the sandwich shop there was a guy standing behind my Spyder talking on his phone. Before he even hung up his call he was telling me how cool the Spyder is. I explained that I was very aware of how cool it is and I told him how much fun it is to ride. He told me he owns a "rice rocket" (his term) but that his wife won't even get on it. He said his brother just bought a big Harley and that his wife sort of liked that but she said she probably wouldn't ride it. He said he was looking to trade in the "rocket" for a Harley to see if he could coax her on after the purchase. I told him the only reason my wife wasn't with me was because she was home decorating for the Christmas season. She loves to go when I ride. That got him. He knew what his brother paid for the Harley so when I told him roughly what I paid for the Spyder and accessories he said he was going to go get one. He thanked me for the info and he was back on his phone again as I was putting on my helmet and gloves. He looked around when I started the Spyder and I thought he was gonna drop when I backed out of the parking space, I had forgotten to tell him it has a reverse gear. It was a very fun experience when he assured me he was going to purchase one TODAY! I'm pretty sure he meant it. Gotta go. Gonna pick up the grandson from first grade today. He loves riding aound the neighborhood with me. Have a great day! :clap:
