• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Things are looking up

Got my first ride of the season in today :ohyea:

Had fitted a whole bunch of expensive options (in my books anyway) over the winter:

All of Spyderpops stuff for an '08 GS
BajaRon's swaybar
Lightly used RT front shocks
Jim's belt tensioner.

My vibration has gone now, must have been the belt. It handles better. The hot air is being deflected.

Roll on more rides.

BTW: After I bought this '08 GS last June I quickly installed a Givi screen. It was fine but not quite tall enough for me. I then got the 25" Touring screen with the side deflectors. This is fabulous in the cold/cooler weather & keeps the wind off me & my hands.
Might put the Givi back on in the height of summer - I'll see. Or I might just remove the deflectors to let the breeze in.

One happy Canuck today.

You're one brave Canuck for riding in freezing weather! I plan to head out soon too, but 35 is still too cold!:joke:

Good news..!!

Nice you finally get to enjoy the addition to your roadster. Things will only get better...!!

The Canadians are packing up and leaving the Keys. Spring must be on its way!

The Quebeckers arrive 'en masse' at the border post south of Montreal in their huge RVs & cause a considerable jam & wait. Can be most annoying if you're caught in it.
