• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There should be a special patch

You can get patches for various milage landmarks like 10,000 miles, 25,000 miles ect.... But what we really need is a patch for anyone who managed to get the handlebars off their Spyder RT!

And to think you couldn't get your back wheel off last week. :banghead:
You are learning in leaps and bounds :firstplace:

Lamont, the problem is that he was still trying to take the back wheel off when the handlebars came off accidently! (just kidding...)

Now that was funny, and actually not to far from the truth. :opps:

I just think the engineers who design this stuff should be forced to try to remove them, the designs would change rapidly. I mean, they make chrome replacements for these things, so they must know people are going to take them off, it is just silly how much needs to come off in order to get at some of the screws, I was weaving a tapestry of profanity in my garage getting that dang thing off.

After 3 tries use the BRP hi-tech specialty tool the B.F.H. It works every time and makes you feel good.

Mike;)

RT WORSE THAN RS?

nothing is worse than the gs/rs handlebar removal:banghead::yikes: but it feels so good when you're done:clap:

RS

I attempt to remove it on my RS several times with not a hope, one day just got really p.....off so I wrapped whole Spyder except handlebar and paint it like that, Man that felt so good after, that grey drove me demented:banghead:
It's black now - feels good but never again!
.....or never say never?
