• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The week of Maggie Valley, wouldn't you know it...

... I scratched my eye yesterday, rubbing some "sand" in it after waking up. ARRRRRGGGGHHHH. :gaah:

Thankfully, it's better today, and hopefully will be fine by the time I leave on Wednesday.

But geez if that didn't hurt ALL. DAY. yesterday. I would have bet money I had an eyelash stuck on my eyeball, but washing it clean I had nothing, so eventually I just figured I had scratched it.

I just hate this "home stretch" before a trip, ya know? Always expecting something stupid to happen, something to break on the bike, or worse, *on me*. :(

I was cleaning my bushy and long "catepiller" eyebrows when I accidentaly cut off my mole on the corner of the right interior (top of the nose bridge) with the razor. Bleed like a stuck pig and had to use QuikClot to stop it... Not as bad as getting sand on the eye or running over a deer:opps:, but it took 3 hours to make it stop bleeding and it still goes if I remove the scab.:gaah:

We're gonna have to bundle you guys up in bubble wrap and sedate you until it's time to hit the road... :roflblack:

Funny you mentioned that... my wife was out on a business trip while my mole incident happened... and before that I got a new lawn trimmer which I started ejecting more cord and a big chunck came off. Hit me on the side of the leg and left me a nice gash, so when my wife found out, her response was similar to your statement.nojoke

You weren't by chance trimming your eyebrows with the lawn trimmer, were you?

Bubble wrap... that's a great idea. Do they make that in mesh? It *is* hot out there. :joke:

Seriously, I'm my own worst enemy most days of the week.
