• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

MurphyBrown is a mainstay at SpyderEvents.
You might not notice her at first. You will soon as she climbs on her decked out Spyder-of-the-Moment.
She starts it.
Lights come on.
Lots of lights.
The Akrapovic blasts the Rotax's bass notes into the air.

Then, this Great Grandmother heads off with twin American Flags streaming behind her.

She has been Spydering for six years.
All over the North American continent.

She has been through three Spyders and saddled more than 120 thousand miles.
A good portion of her trips are done alone.
Well, not exactly alone.
She once told one belligerent biker at a gas stop that she wasn't alone
With her at all times are God and Smith & Wesson.
He got the idea.

Two years ago she purchased a new RT & 622 Trailer.
Because of the fact the trailer was purchased in Missouri and she lives in another state her trailer didn't have a license plate.
I asked her what she was going to do if she got stopped.
She thought for a moment, then with the characteristic MurphyBrown twinkle said,
"I'll just play the old lady card."
That's Murph.

Oh yeah....

If you don't know of her and your here.....you will....:riding: she does move around a lot once the weather clears up there in the north west.....

We caught her cat napping at Spyderfest 2016 and Len wanted everyone to hear her purring in her sleep.

NOTE: She has vowed to "Get Even",

Met her at the BRP Owner's event in Durango two years ago. We discussed the S.P.O.T. she had on her Spyder. I decided it might be a good idea to get one....just in case?

She had turned it off and didn't inform her kids she had done so. After a bit they called in a panic to see if she was OK? You can track someone online and it showed she hadn't moved for a while. They may have thought she was in a ditch somewhere? She said she would inform them next time!

A really nice nice lady and wonderful to talk to.

Karyl is one great lady in our books. Traveled to Alaska with her, Karyl organized the entire trip and one of the greatest trips we have been on. Looking forward to getting together again.
Love you Karyl

Karyl

Our friend. She is an inspiration. To those who thought 500 miles is too far, she'll teach you! Add a 0, then double it! We just love her!!!

Thanks to Karyl I have spent way too much money on farkels. My checkbook is now depleted. A fun person to ride with but be prepared for some serious coffee drinking.☕
