• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Ultimate Ride Adventure

USE OF SHIP

We dont control any of the ramps stuff. The ship is allowing us to use it. Maybe when they use the celebrity it might be bigger then we can all go on and have fun and GET ALONG. Ron also came up with a way that could have made the rt fit but nobody wanted to try using the mag wheels and taking the fenders off. I dont blame you cause that seems like a hassle. :yikes:

It was a blast and cant wait till we can go again. Even after all of the stress of getting the bikes moved around and customs. Would be cool to get the entire spyder family aboard the ship.
......888, I realize you don't / can't control the ramps .........however ! ! !
" Allowing " you to use their ship...................".Really "..........I thought you had to pay extra money to bring the Spyder..........Do you have any idea how much COST & TROUBLE it would be to have them buy TWO lengths of 2 inch aluminum pipe and put them at the outside edges of the RAMPS ?????????????..Mike .......................Sorry, but my tolerance level for " SORRY WE DON'T GIVE A CR*P, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT TOO BAD ".........isn't very high....... :roflblack::roflblack:

Thanks for the memories!

Just want to give a shout out and thanks to Ron for telling us about this great trip, to Chuck and Carol for offering their home on our way to Orange County Choppers, and to Tim for helping with our antifreeze problems. It was great meeting all of you. Hopefully, we'll see you at Spyderquest this year.

it is too bad that RT's can't fit, at least for now - as others have said, maybe in the future....

right now they seem to only be able to handle Tri-Glides and Goldwing trikes (along with the Spyder RS/ST class machines)

and removing the fenders and purchasing different front wheels would throw the RT out of balance and impact the performance and handling so its not a simple solution

would love to go on one of these cruises but want to be able to ride my bike vs renting an RS/ST for a week or so... just wouldn't be the same....:opps:

and BlueKnight - take a breath and give it a rest please

So lookerjdc , you have a problem with someone who thinks making things better for everyone is a BAD thing .....The Spyderlover on that trip who hit the rails and damaged his FENDER probably won't agree with you.........and you need to get this correct also I'm "BLUEKNIGHT911" , I wouldn't want you sticking your FINGER in the wrong guy's eye.....He may a bigger g*n than me :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:....................Love , Mike

WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TTTTTT

Mike where did you get this info, nobody damaged anything. nojoke

Actually it was from you...................re-read your post # 190...................Your welcome , Mike

There is a 2" rise at the bottom, but you would hit the railing with the fender before the tire would hit it . You must trust the person at the top or bottom of the ramp completely and watch which way his finger would lean and then correct. I never hit the railing but I know of one that did.

Try again Mike , it don't say any thing about any damage. The way it is designed it would take a pretty hard hit to damage anything.

MEA CULPA, MEA CULPA

When your right, your right and I was absolutely wrong in stating there was DAMAGE from the collision that the other Spyder had from hitting the RAILING on the RAMP..........................:agree:.................But in 99.9999999999999999999 % of every accident I ever investigated in my 37 years as a cop When a vehicle of any kind hit an immovable object .........THERE WAS DAMAGE ......So His was the FIRST and I'm very, very, very glad to hear this news, Thanks for sharing .............With much affection Mike :nopic:

So Mike...
Are you keeping "Ole Yeller", so that you can take the cruise next year with it?
(The 2014 RT would need to be left on the dock...)

No it's going to a good home along with the trailer and all the things I built to go with it .....Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I am planning on keeping the RSS..the one I that got me the :firstplace: at the 2014 DRAG RACES............and I doubt I would take a chance on that RAMP......Maybe I'll bring my own boards and just put them on the sides :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:........:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:......Mike

The first time I rode up the ramp I was a little worried. But only moving at 1mph its not bad at all. Very easy nothing to worry about looks worse then it really is. Seriously the side boards, I get the jest of it, would be overkill. When you try it you'll understand what I mean. I cant wait til I go again....
