• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Ultimate Ride Adventure

Just a guess here ........But if you remove the front fenders ? ? ? ...I think an RT may be do-able ...:gaah:  :2excited:.....Mike

You gotta come on this trip Mike. Just think of all the fun we could have................

Panic :yikes:, Confusion:dontknow: Chaos:trike:, and Disorder :lecturef_smilie:..............My work here is done

Some of these ships are big enough to have a running track around the deck: Do you think they would let us make parade laps???:ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:

Ok then someone with an RT needs to measure this and see if the front tires are wider than 60", that is our only restriction. Large so Mike can see.:roflblack:

That is some big hole in the water...
White Star's Titanic in comparison...
She was 882 feet 9 inches in length and 92 feet in breadth. Her gross tonnage was 46,328 tons.

Mike has asked me a few questions and I am going to answer them here because they are good questions that everyone needs to know. 1) price breakout, multiply the type of room that you would like and multiply by 2 (this will be good for one or two people and one trike) then add $225 trike addition (trike take twice the space) then add $300 dollars that will be needed day of departure for gas, insurance for your bike on the islands, permits, and etc. This is your minimum costs. Options, trip insurance (depending on which insurance you buy, this covers if you must cancel do to sickness death in the family, emergency transportation if you need to be transported off the ship, and etc) If you think you might need this ask ETA for the details. There is one island that we will not be riding on and that is Labadee, it is Royal Caribbeans privite resort pennesula on Haiti (an incredible water park) and you may want to spend some money there, but not necessary, it is an extension of the ship. Drink packages ,Soda, juice, wine, water and I believe they now have hard drink packages, I am checking the details. My son just finished a cruise a few weeks ago and told me $45 and $55 per day for top shelf and if there is 2 in your room, you both need them. To me that is expensive unless you can get them only on the days your at sea. Mike asked me about the ramp, there is a picture on ETAs site link above, but I don't think that is the one we use. The trike one has to be wider and also you will drive your on spyder on and off the cruise ship on ride days. Bikes are secured below deck and under survelance cameras. Mike there is a max total of 35 bike spaces with spyders taking 2 spaces. We now have 4 spyders and one bike, 13 spyder spaces available that I know of and I hope everyone post here or in the NY Spyder Rider group section. First come, first served. Release to the public day is 3/25/13

I was gonna say, "Great Font size; I could read it without putting noseprints on my monitor!"

Thanks for this info!
Now if we can just figure out how to load an RT onboard... ;)

My husband and I did this cruise last year with a Goldwing Group and had a great time. We had escorts on each island that stopped the traffic for us and the Police Escort in San Juan was amazing. Those guys really know how to ryde!

Mike,
Do you have any idea of who you've just asked to get an accurate measurement?? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
I can always TRY... but this is gonna be a tight fit, and I'd hate to rely on a measurement from a guy like ME! :yikes:

If it is close, no harm in asking. Scotty can you help us out here or anyone else. Bob give it a try, Mike made it easy for you.

If anyone is wondering why Tammy will not be getting back to you tell next thursday, I just want to give a wave out, as they departed today on an Oak Ridge Boys Cruise and they have 500 guests. The whole staff went out on this one. I sure would have liked to been one.

Ron and Mike,
I'll give the old yardstick a bit of a stretch across the RT's bow this weekend for you...
Do you know what the EXACT allowable width is??
I think that this is gonna be closer than my measuring skills are accurate... :opps:
