• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ETA

For those that have left messeges with Tami at ETA, I expect her to be calling starting tomorrow and when you give her your name, make sure you tell her exactly the way it is on your passport. It will save you some problems down the road when you fill out you sea pass information. (been there done that)

Mike,
YOu should take Deanna and the RS; I'm gonna be chained to my desk in the office! :gaah:
But thanks for the kind and generous offer!

Let's just say that I'm the kind of guy that needs somebody with a "firm hand" at the wheel. ;)
Give me HALF an inch, and I'll be out the door with five miles before you can say, ":cus:"

randy, I made a special attempt to book this far enough ahead so even Holly could get off. Say what???? nojoke:roflblack:

Why is it that my mind is just flashing all sorts of great scenarios at the thought of Randy; unchained in the Bahamas?

So I have spent a bit off time this week trying to get the RT's width less that 60" but have come up 1/4 to wide at 60.25" with the RS custom wheel. It could be modified to work, but I am now looking at having it made and see what the cost are. If it were me I would take the chance with the RS wheel. Thet are not going to see 1/4".

those cruises look insanely incredible

have to look at upcoming cruises out of Ft Lauderdale.... wish they had some out of Port Canaveril....

It will definately be a once in a lifetime event for me, just as my Alaskan cruise tour is this June. Remember that trikes only go on Exploror of the Seas and your have an RT so some narrowing is required.

what king of narrowing?

The RT is 62.5" wide and the maximum allowable width is 60". I have played with different RS wheels on the RT and the best I have come up with is 60.25 by doing the math. I would like to be able to measure the RT with the custom BRP RS wheels, but I don't have either. If someone that has access to both of these, that could do this it would be much appreciated by all those that are hopeing to cruise with there RT. Custom wheels I think are out of the question at $500 each. Also the fenders would need to come off or spaced inward, but this is easy, 4 bolts per side. If the custom BRP wheel is still to wide, then the phantom wheel would be the easiest to modify to get the 60".

Ron,
Stupid questiuon here... from me again! :D
Would it be possible to just stick a jack under the bike's belly, unbolt the wheels, and drag it across the ramp?
(Or does "incline" become an issue?)

I think the time factor would be more of a problem, just trying to work within the rules. The fenders would still be a problem.
