• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THE SPYDER LEFT US STRANDED AGAIN

That's 100% correct, and when the DESS module sees a switch closure it places a code on the CanBus to stop the engine.
Overly complicated?
No, not when considering the overall system.
A malfunctioning DESS module could be the culprit.

Again thanks to all for your help. I would hope the the GM will take this bike to this "BRP Tech. hospital" in wausau,wi so this can be fixed. The part that disturbs us the most is that the dealership has to go to this place without getting help from a BRP tech directly. Or more importantly why cant a BRP tech go to the dealership directly so they can train the mech./tech at the same time. I will keep you posted on where the the spyder ends up:banghead:
