There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is Fred Rau a Spyder rider now???? I believe I met him a couple of years ago at a BTW rally and they had two trikes - either Harleys or Hondas??? Just wondering.

Mickey Fisher was one, and he went on to be the creator/writer of the TV series Extant. FaranH was the other that rounded out the Five. BRP decided to stick with the original 3, plus whatever celebrity they could pick up along the way. Daniel Bastien, Lamont, and Fred comprised the original 3.

Fred still rides a spyder, along with a few other machines. the wife and I passed him and his wife (going opposite directions) out in Montpelier, Idaho while on our western trip last summer. wished we had known who it was at the time, we would have turned around and introduced ourselves!! we found out that nite, by seeing a post of Fred's on facebook , that they were at the bank in Montpelier Idaho!
