Spent some time yesterday to familiarize myself with what I read in the Owner's Manual and how it looks on the RT. Pulling off the panel to check the oil and the opposite panel for the radiator was easy enough. I also found that all the grommets were there. I checked the air in the front tires...17 pounds, aired up to 20. Checked the air in rear tire...25, aired up to 30. That's the pressure I prefer. Surprise of all, checked the air in the rear shock..."0" zero! (Explains why the Spyder rode so rough when we did the 250 mile run Friday). So, I aired up the rear shock to 28 pounds. Took a ride to the casino yesterday afternoon and what a difference! And sure enough, when I got home, BOTH rear grommets were gone from the 2 panels I had removed! lol So, today is a good reason to ride to the dealer's (70 miles) to get them replaced! I much prefer the way the GS/RS panels are secured. No chance of them ever coming off because a grommet came off.
