Looks like they are at least looking at building an electric Ryker. For the way I ride, this would be perfect. I ride 30 to 50 miles at a time. I would just keep the charger on, go ride, and forget the gas station. Perfect. Also, the instant torque would be a big plus.

Most questions are going to center around how many miles per charge, and how much?

As you mentioned, if you drive less than 100 miles, they could be a real blast to drive.

Using a Ryker platform...it would be interesting to see if they can come in under $20K. :bbq:

I'd like to see more charging stations before considering this but these concepts do sound exciting. For now I'll run my Ryker as long as it'll take it..

I do plan on keeping my current Ryker for 10 years. So it will hopefully have all the bugs worked out by the time I want to trade in.
