• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The new 2016 RT?

I think the RT riders would be happy if the increase in engine performance of the F3 made it into the RT line in 2016.

Not a fan of the "imagined '16 F3 RT". BRP got it right when they designed the 2014 RT. The only changes I would make or add to the OEM equipment list is a beefier sway bar and a LED HMT running/brake light. I love my 2014 RT Limited!!! :trike:

Why not a 2016-2017 Spyder RT with a F3 type top fill gas tank

The frames are all the same from 2013 on. Only the subframes are changed.

And I don't think you'll see this or any version of it.

Hi Lamont,
It would be a shame if BRP Spyder engineers ignore the fact that majority of Spyder RT owners/riders want a top fill F3 type gas tank.
I would think BRP engineers could fit a F3 gas tank on 2016 Spyder RT by removing glove box, molding panels to fit around F3 gas tank.
Keep rest of RT the same as present 2015 RT's for storage, etc.
Just my 2 cents.

vmax

I know I can always dream, but if I was retired, or had the funds to pay someone to do it, I would install the 200 hp Vmax motor in a St. That would be totally bad a$$:doorag:.
Again, it is only a dream:D
I have been waiting to hear this from someone for a long time. I have a 85 vmax named storm built by mad max, 144 at the rear wheel and it was not running good. I dream one day of installing it in a spyder. deer slayer.

Revamp the bodywork of the ST

The engine and coolant system wouldn't fit inside the current bodywork... :banghead:

Revamp the bodywork. Open the side panels ala the F3. Incorporate the U-Fit system, but keep the sport touring style. I think it would be a hit. Maybe someone can Photoshop a concept drawing (with all the disclaimers.) Maybe that's already in the works.

May be this will be the new rear end of the 2016 RT. It's the rear end of the 2015 Freedom Trailer.

We had to wait until the end of september.

I love my 2014 RT-S. I don't see a reason to change things. If it isn't broke then don't fix it. I do wish they'd bring the 622 trailer back. I want all that storage space.

...Until your NEXT one... :D
I wont take any demo rides! :roflblack::roflblack: That is how I found out about the 2014RTS-SE6, the test drive sold me. I also had heard about the 14's on this site from everyone else that had bought one. Deanna

There must be a bunch of folks with older bikes that run and drive MUCH worse than our 2013s. I demo'd a 14 at the owners event. It was nice to a point but mostly it was just different. And certainly not $10k a copy worth of difference. its mostly the same bike and with the suspension and cooling upgrades we have, our 13s actually drove BETTER. The off the line torque is nice but the top end drops off a lot as if the 1330 cant breath where the 998 just keeps pulling all the way to red line....at least ours do.

Eh. If I was looking for a new bike now, yeah I'd prefer the 14 sure. But there was no were near enough to persuade me to trade in a 1 year old bike and take that kind of loss.

The area I'd like to see changed is the trunk and side cases, 2 to 3 inches deeper for the side cases, and a trunk that approaches the size of a Harley Tour Pack.

Lamont, I was told by the guy that posted that concept picture on Facebook that the picture was posted by BRP and was on the BRP website somewhere. So the picture is actually from BRP?

If they drew it, I guess it was just an idea and they gave up on it?
