The Morning Thread

Good Saturday Morning to All

8° out with a high of 27° today. No Spyder riding, but Kathy and I will bring a load of toys up to our dealer for there Toys for Tots drive.

Even though it's a 4 hour round trip I always look forward to this as we will meet some of our group riding friends and partake in Les's great chilie
:ohyea:

This year Kathy baked a treat to share so it should be a lot of fun
:yes::yes::yes:

Brisk out there

Good morning all. Quite chilly this morning, I'm hoping the few flakes in the air don't warrant the itchy town staff to salt! Calling for 50's next week so I'm hoping for another couple miles......

Good Morning to all from Freeport IL. 14 degrees out today. Couple days of work next week, then off till the 4th. Loading up the trailer and headed somewhere warm to ride. Only had my Spyder since July, but I NEED to get on it soon

Morn'n all. :coffee:

A scant 12 deg. above (0) here. Headed for a high of only 34 today. However, the next few days are to be much better again with highs in the 40s. And.... we have a really good chance of having a "brown" Christmas. I'll bet the snowmobile sales are down this year. ;)

29 here, and some "White Fungus" landed overnight... :gaah:

I don't believe that the Sand Trucks have been out, but I fear that this may be the "Stake Through The Heart", of my riding Season...

good morning to each & all............... had a great ride & a great evening with the SCRC #213 last night, we have adopted 4 family's this year & spent the evening wrapping all the gifts that we will be delivering to them on Christmas eve morning on bikes. along with good ole St. Nick himself............ last year was a true heart warming experience watching those little kids run outside when the sound of our rolling Santa thunder came into their areas.......... without the great members of the SCRC these kids wouldn't have had anything under the tree....... i am proud to say that they allowed me to become a member. with all the bad in the world its a great thing to see just a little good again.

10 degrees here this morning. Zero chance of a white Christmas here in southern WI this year. Cold for a day or two yet, then right back into the 40's again. Ordered a pair of Rivco armrests yesterday. That'll be a project for me in the next couple weeks......18 days off from work...woohoo:yes:
I had hoped to be out grooming snowmobile trails for at least a few of those days...aint lookin good

Awesome show of holiday spirit!

You guys do great work, keep it up. Ride safe, and merry Christmas.

Y'all have a great day, whatever you decide to do!!!!!!:thumbup:

Good Sunday Morning to All

30° out with a high of 36° today.

Had a great day yesterday - dropped off some toys for Toys For Tots at our dealer and visited with some members of our Minnesota chapter. One member (Grampa Pete) even rode in and it was below 20°.
Talked about plans for Spyderfuest and Three Wheel Rally and had some very good eats.

Well back lack to working on the basement
:banghead:

Good morning

We could actually mow the lawn today, but I refuse to get the mower out of storage. I am however planning some short trips around town in the 40 degree weather.

I'm hoping that the Sand Trucks stay off of the Main Roads around here.

But I have to fear the worst...

Weather man said 65° in New York on the 24th so I think you will be fine.

We will be flying into Pennsylvania that day to spend Chrismas with our kids and we are looking forward to the warm weather :ohyea:

Yup! We'll have a couple of days of rain and warm weather, a sunny and warm Christmas (Perhaps a ride will break out!!), and then the temperatures drop...

Good After Noon everyone,

The temp today is 23 degrees, cloudy. Burrrrrrr!

Last night we got the White Fungus( snow) about 2 to 3 inches, but the snow wont last long here in Vermont. The temps next week will be in the 40' to 50's and rain.

No White Christmas here.

I feel bad for the ski areas here in Vermont, usually next week is 1 of their busyness ski weeks. I hope we don't get the a lot of snow in March or April, because that would cut into my Start of the riding season.

Happy Holidays to everyone, ride safe out there!
Deanna
