• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The left side bag is still small ?

Am I right ?
In my 2010, the left side bag was smaller than the right side because the battery was in the way.
My 2014, the battery was moved up front, but the left side bag is still smaller ?
HUH ?
Is there something else in the way that takes up the space in the old battery location ?
Or did BRP just not change the molds for the bags ?
I'd like the extra space. I can't fit a helmet in the left bag, but that's the easiest for me to access when the Spyder is parked in my garage.

I noticed the same thing when I got mine home, never thought much about it. Figured there must be something behind it in there. My Neotec has to go in the frunk, too wide for the right bag.

I have a 2014 RT and I find that I can fit my wife's 3/4 helmet inside the right side compartment but not on left side. :dontknow:

Same with my 2013 RT . . . I suspect it was left that way so they could continue to use the same parts . . . cheaper than making new molds, and also easier on the supply side for replacement parts . . .

I think that you're right... They just didn't bother to expand the bag, once they had the chance to do so.
Although they DID move the evaporative canister back into that location for the 2014 models...

The left side is also smaller not just because of the battery but because if you add the XM radio, it goes between the left saddlebag and the frame.
