The Joy of Spyder Touring

Saturday afternoon I returned from my last Spyder trip of 2016. After I had returned from the Hill Country ryde in October, I thought that was going to be it for this year. But I had to go to Clever, Mo. (near Springfield) to pick up my new/used Bushtec and then I went to SpyderPops for service and installation of the trailer wiring harness and heated gear wiring. Then I got to spend a night at CruzrJoe's and Sheila's.

All the way home I just kept counting my blessings to get to be riding cross country again! hyea:hyea:hyea: The feeling could only be described as JOY! I always enjoy my Spyder travels, but this time it was just more special. Maybe it was because I got to squeeze another trip in at the end of the season. I'm still glowing.

I just wish I was as eloquent as Roger and could paint a word picture for you. But I just wanted to share.

I plan on squeezing in the Veterans Day parade here. and that's certainly not open road, but the season is certainly winding down here in Kansas isn't it ? Glad you're home safe.
