• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Gulf Coast Spyder Riders were rained out today but still had fun

Our 8 a.m. ride was rained out...the rain didn't bother anyone, but the lightning :yikes: was enough to keep the Spyders indoors. Our group decided to get together for lunch instead. By then the skies were overcast but the rain had ended. Erags and I hoped we'd be able to get in a group ride after lunch, so we rode our Phantom to meet everyone. We figured Fang and his wife would arrive via car since they had plans to attend a baseball game later in the day. The rest of the gang would arrive on their bikes, we thought. To our amazement, we were the only ones arriving on a Spyder. Poof! There went our visions of a group ride!
Erags discovered there is a 20 foot metal :spyder2: near Elberta, AL and had mapped out a ride to it. There are supposed to be four thirty foot columns topped with Grecian goddesses in a nearby field...what's with that?! :hun: Guess we'll have to check out those sights another day.

Hope the rest of you SpyderLovers had some good rides today.

I understand the Martins located the :spyder2: on their way home yesterday...anxious to see their pictures. Better yet, I'll talk Erags into a Spyder ride to see it!

Cheryl,
