• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Gold Plugs

Thanks for telling me about the Gold Plugs. I just got mine and got one for the oil drain on the engine as well as the oil tank. The treads are longer then stock and I tried to pick up a wrench with the stock plug and didn't move it at all. Now the Gold Plug not only picked it up but took a little force to remove it. I will feel a lot safer with them in my oil stream. :f_spider: RJ

Cowboy, they do have stong magnets. Be prepared when you loosen the one on the tank for it to grab on the edge of the drain opening and oil will squirt all over before you can get it off.

I finally replaced mine with a non-magnet one. Figured the one in the engine, coupled with two filters is enough.
