• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The biker's "CODE" of friendly hello's? NOT today!!!!

I have reached an age where I do not are what others say. If someone waves I try to wave back but it does not make or break my day if someone does not.

I started the wave

About 45 years ago I started the wave to all bikers. First it started out as a "power" sign with the fist in the air and then went to just a wave and then to the low sign. Back then, there weren't nearly as many bikes on the road and it was an attempt on my part to show camaraderie among bikers. Nowadays, every body and their brother has a bike and most are just riders instead of bikers. My solution now is to just nod acknowledgement. :spyder2:

I'v run across a couple of noders over the years, I just thought they were novices & afraid to let go of the handlebars.---Budro

I have through a very informal, unscientific survey backed by minutes of research that idiot Harley Riders down south are more polite and wave back!

my take on this. IF THEY WAVE, they wave, most do some don't, the HArley HELMUT thing here is not an issue ( LAW ), so if you do not want to wave or acknowledge another rider on whatever they happen to be riding . SO BE IT, not gunna ruin my week. I even give the wave to the scooter riders.

LOL

There have been curves and speed that make your assessment right. I wasn't about to let go. LOL

I wave to everyone, except the scooter crowd here. They are notorious for stealing helmets, since it was made law for them. We call them 'Mo-pagans', and they tend to be made up of the old drunks (DUIs) and young fools (15 y/o kids who can't control them, and don't know anything about road laws). A few are cool. Key word being few.
