• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Bed Lined Spyder is DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bytemi not many people would have the guts to do this to their Spyder BUT.....:clap::clap::clap: I think it is absolutely awesome, when you first said you were thinking of this I was kind of nervous for you to say the truth but wow it looks so good. I will bet a dollar you see a few people here do this great idea

My only disclaimer for other people is to make sure you read the step by step post and read about the pitfalls and the things you should avoid. It can go very wrong, very fast, Thank God for my husband that can fix anything.

If you do decide you want to try this, you can PM me with questions and make sure you are ready to buy a new set of panels in case anything goes wrong. I would feel awful if someone messed up their bike and couldn't ride it any more.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING ......Mike.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

:agree: ..Can't say it any better than that! :firstplace:

You have opened up the eyes of this group and I bet that there are more folks here who are taking another look at how they want their :spyder2: to look! :congrats: on being a TRAILBLAZER!

That looks great...How is it to clean? I have a phantom kit, and the matt finish is a pain to keep clean. I have a silver set of skins and have been thinking of getting them painted.

I wasn't sure if I was even reading this right, truck bed liner...wth???.....but, wow! That is so cool! :2thumbs: :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: How talented you are!

Truck bed liner is like teflon, my husband said we hose it down and dry, that is all. I actually wanted the Phantom Panels but didn't want to spend the $1,000 on them. I think this is a great alternative.

The real question is what would you and your husband charge to recreate (pending possible coloration) this mod? I would drop off the spyder and pay for the time :D

In all seriousness, fantastic job and I will be looking into your instructions and considering this on a very serious level. The only issues I have is the custom insert I have from Pete, and my Corbin Fleetliners.

I like the idea of the durability of the paint / bed liner though, it is what is pulling me in the direction the most.

Honestly, we discussed the possibility of offering to bed line Spyders, but we agreed that we would be afraid of messing it up. I don't mind answering questions, and I did my best on the step by step instructions. I will help anyway I can if you want to try this, but I don't want to be responsible for anyone's Spyder but my own.

I can understand and appreciate your perspective here :)

My only real concern is the Corbin Fleetliners, Messing them up would make me cry.
