The 622 trailer is home...

Picked up the totally redone trailer this morning. Dealer said that after taking the swing arms off the shell...it was very clear that the right one had not been assembled correctly. Trailer now measures 100% straight and true. And they put on the 6th set of tires plus replaced the worn spare. BRP wants this to be the fix that works. I give both BRP, Jasmin (BRP) and Moses Lake, WA dealership :thumbup:.
But For me the "proof is in the pudding"...and this trailer will not be getting hardly any use until I head out to Spyderfest 2015...as I am done with any multi day/long rydes needing the trailer. So I will know for sure when I head to MO if this is the fix that works. If it scrubs off a set of tires going to SF...then I know, without a doubt, a trailer that will not be coming back to WA.
First rain that required gear here today...nice ride...rain never slows me down...
Have a great weekend.

I just got an email from Jasmin, BRP, following up with me. Also letting me know that they are extending the warranty on the trailer to 10-22-2016. IMHO BRP has earned gold stars from me for customer service. A am a very grateful owner. Just wanted to share the latest good news in regards to the 622.

:2thumbs: Glad to hear that it's home; safe and sound! :D
Did it appear to be tracking better behind you? Did it seem to pull any "easier"?
:pray::pray:

What a bloody ordeal that was though

Lucky nobody got hurt!!

Because Quebec is too far away? ;-) J/K

Happy now, that it has finally been achieved.
Yes, I would give it a long rest now, too... ;-)

Keep smiling, it looks good on you.

The extended warranty is very warranted!!

So far, so good, as they say.:clap:

I think I'd take a long week-end ride with it soon, just on general principle. Test it out sooner, rather than later.

Dealer said YES

I let the gurus drive my Spyder and pull the trailer...the head mechanic followed...they said dead on!!! I never noticed any problem pulling before...it rolled right behind me all the way home...but it is empty... I just edited my post...showing that BRP has extended my trailer warranty.

Glad to see progress for you. Did you locate any front tire potential replacements?

Great news.

Last month I got a follow up call from the BRP research firm, J.D. Power and Associates wanting me to answer some questions about a visit I made to my dealer. After I answered all the queries the guy asked if there was anything else on my mind that I wanted to comment about.

I told them there were a number of Spyder owners, including me who would have one request and that would be...... "Resolve the problems with Karyl's trailer. Her screen name is Murphy Brown and that should resonate at BRP offices somewhere."

Who knows, maybe it helped.

glad it seems to be resolved....Of course i wonder if just giving you a new one after the 3rd set of tires would have been the best thing to do...:dontknow:
