• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The 2015's - My Thoughts on the Negative Reactions

Nicely put..!!

Great observation...:2thumbs: got nothing negative to say but am also happy with my RS. Don't know why some that are not going to change have to find fault...maybe to justify to themselves not getting one...:dontknow:

Well I'm going to stick my neck out and say that the F3 is an addition to the range and is not going to replace any existing model.

I also think that within two years the V-Twin will be phased out and the in-line triple will be found in all models.

The triple by its nature is easy to set-up in many different ways and will power a 'balls-out' sports machine just as well
as a gentler version in a tourer. ( I am and always have been a fan of 3 cylinder motors!)

So wait for the RSS to have a free-breathing 1330 motor and the six speed box...should be fun.

The F3 accessories list is already quite impressive and the after market manufacturers will be designing farkles and
accessories for it even as I type.

Me?? I'm going to get an F3 S just as soon as they hit the UK shores...I'm told March.

Sure! I'll miss the frunk as a place to store my helmet and as a shopping basket, the F3 has only 24 liters storage
up front but I'll get over it!

New Look, Familiar Territory

Keep in mind the fact I've never yet owned a Can AM Spyder but have demoed three of them (the original in 2008 and a 2013 RT-S as well as a 2014 RT-S). Now consider where I'm at having had 16 motorcycles in 44 years, the last seven being cruisers. At 61 years of age my knees and back don't like to bend anymore and the cruiser riding position agrees with me. The new 2015 Spyder F3 has me interested in a much bigger way than the RT did as it will fit me like an old shoe or a well broken in pair of blue jeans. The aggressive looks at first were a bit off-putting but now I have grown to like it. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the first F3 at my dealer so I can actually see it in the flesh so-to-speak and get a chance to check-out the riding position and weather permitting even get a demo ride on it.

Same here, I like the F3 but it is not for me. I came off of a two wheel cruiser to the RT riding style for a reason. I like the riding position. I still have a couple of cruiser style bikes and from time to time ride them but it's the touring style that I am most comfortable on. (that goes for my wife also).
By the way, I have always liked the color combo on your 2010

Thanks StanProf I like the color too , The yellow really pops out when you see it against the timeless black. I traded my spyder in on a 2015 Rt Limited Black and my dealer was disappointed that I removed the graphics before I traded it in. I am trying to figure out what to do with my new spyder to make it my own.
Pete's Power Sports Wraps did a great job with the stripes and a local vinyl shop installed them for me.

I have a few health issues with my neck. On my Rt I can ride all day with no pain.

Totally Agree

With the first post here.
My thoughts on an ST with the 1330 ACE. People are saying that they don't like/not ready for an RT.
Well if you put the 1330 in the ST you will effectively have and RT front end and an ST/RS back end,
pretty much an RT without the rear Storage.
My reasoning is the 1330 wont fit inside the current plastics of an ST, so it would be reasonable to think
that they would use pretty much the same components as the RT

As much as I would love to have the 1330 in my ST I wouldn't want to change the look.

That being said, I plan on being the first in New Zealand to own an F3 :D

im glad this topic was brought up. I myself have had enough of all the bashing that's taking place on facebook, I had to leave a few nasty replies to some people. The new F3 which by the way I am buying has been getting a bad rap on design. One person says it looks like a lawn tractor and then a bunch of idiot's with no design sense add their 2 cents. Why would people who own a Spyder bash the same bike, I don't understand. I truly think the new rt's with the custom colors are awesome as are the st's and the rss line up is way out there but i love all the color combo's. The F3 in every color hit the nail on the head as far as design goes. Like the OP I to am 48, again a bit younger than most on here and love the new Spyder. I hope this new F3 brings in the younger people here where I live, im sick and tired of all these young guys buying HD's they all look the same...coming at me or in my rear view:roflblack::roflblack: where they are way way back. I haven't even seen an F3 up close only photo's and today I shook on a deal to purchase one, why because I belive in the product and I like things that look different. To me it has a very futuristic design and the custom paint idea I have for this will be outstanding. Winter is coming fast here so I have to weight till the bike show in January to see one or I might just head down to Lamont's barbecue to see his lol..

I think the F3 is a major new cool idea and believe that it will sell. That being said I love my modified "Cruiser Style" RS and think the 998 is plenty powerful and strong. It runs all day over 70 mph on long trips and never misses a beat. Looking forward to seeing how the 2015's go.:doorag:
