• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thankful today

What comes around, goes around, Lamont. Thank YOU for providing this service of vast knowledge: not only on Spyders but on everything else in life.
Also for the friendships created thru here and the events that you and everyone else has created and attended to. It makes the world a smaller and happier place.

To be thankful for what you got.

In march of2013 I was told I had kidney cancer on the right side and it had to come out because of some DR I was going to and missed it. Well, anyway I had the operation and I had to go for chemo treatments. I am glad to say that I and the great DRs:bowdown: I had finally :yes:beat this thing. I was down in the dumps over going for:banghead: chemo treatments but after talking to some of the people there, they were worse off than me. So like lamont said, you can't judge people by their looks until you walk in their shoes. Thanks Lamont. Your story brought tears to my eyes to think how lucky I am to beat this. Have a happy thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas.

Very well said Lamont, after beating throat cancer 2 yrs ago, I have found that there are very many things to be thankful for in life. Things that bugged me years ago, don't phase me now. The past is gone, the future isn't here yet, that is why it is called the present and why I treat it as such! Thanks for the great post! Wishing all my American friends and neighbours a great Thanksgiving!

So many times we look for beauty on the outside when we might be missing the true beauty on the inside. I've found as I grow older that what use to be important to me is not the same anymore. I don't judge people by the way they look on the outside till I take the time to find out what's on the inside first. I'm amazed that when you take the time to really get to know people you'll find that pretty much all of them have something to give that will make you a better person or maybe just let you know what has shaped them to be who they are today.

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.” ~Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
