• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THANK YOU Len and cowtown

14hours, 970+ miles isn't too bad for a test ride. Only had 6 miles on a demo before I bought at Cowtown.

Len was a HUGE help in planning, and getting this thing put together for me. I flew in from Cheyenne WY, got picked up at the airport, driven to Cowtown, Met some good folks, bought a bike, and went for a Ride with Joe.

Once Joe waved goodbye it was a test drive to remember. Got so many looks. Questioned by the cops, and all kinds of people. (now I know about the "stupid" questions - is it stable?)

Thanks again for all the help Len.

Flying Low is in Understatement - I had to be a Ninja the whole way back!!! (Len understands why).

MO people don't speed.... they HAUL ASS!!! There were times I was doing 15 over with 4 other cars and people were still passing us!

Made sure I only did about 5 over the whole way. Stop in Kansas City for the night. Next morning left at about 7am and stopped after about 45 minutes to buy winter gloves(forgot mine). Every time I stopped people were checking out the bike. Even the cops looked at it a couple times, "A 3 wheeled crotch rocket huh?"

I had 1 car that took a picture going buy me, later on I caught up to them, went to pass, saw they had the camera so I slowed down and waved.

This is going to be a GREAT experience. Thanks again for Letting be a part of the Spyder world.

14 hours at 70MPH =980 miles not bad for a newbie and I'm guessing no registration-license.

:congrats: on the new ride :spyder2: ON.

Cowtown USA clearly sets the Standard for Spyder dealers.. I hope others will rise to the challenge of being like these folks.

:congrats:

Glad to hear everything went well and you made it home safely.

You have definitely been through the initiation phase of new Spyder ownership. The questions, and crowds, just seem to keep coming even after 18 months. :2thumbs:

Found this little gremlin in the Frunk When I got home.
