I wanted to take this opportunity to thank BRP for a truly wonderful experience. This month BRP is holding special, by invitation only demo events in California. They reached out to the Spyder Ryders of America National chapter and solicited help in conducting these events. The concept was to invite the prospect to a private sale. These were people that had expressed interest in owning a Spyder. As members of SRA we were to actually lead the test drives of the spyders around the local area. We were there as experts on the spyders that were not there to sell, but answer questions about the vehicles and instruct people on how to operate the machines safely.
BRP had several representatives at these events in cluding their lead designer Denys LaPointe, Pierre Luc, Carl, Michael and Steve. We had the opportunity to sit down with Denis and give him feedback on things that would make the Spyder better. He took copious notes and asked a lot of questions. He was even sketching some of the ideas we presented to take back with him and hopefully we might see those ideas on future models. All of the gentlemen we met from BRP were wonderful to work with and extremely appreciative of the service we provided. By spending time with these gentlemen it was very clear that BRP Cares, about their end user, about their dealer network, and about the quality of the product that they bring to market, and they all ryde too. So they are just as invested in this vehicle as we are.
Finally, in exchange for the service we provided to BRP, they made a sizable donation to Ride for Kids on behalf of SRA. On this last Sunday we had the opportunity to unite a Pediatric Brain Tumor Survivor (who really wants a Spyder) with Pierre Luc and Carl. They explained to her what BRP was prepared to do for Ride For Kids (major fund raiser for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation) and I can tell you this woman was moved to tears, and so were they. This was a tremendous feel good moment all around.
On this forum we hear all about how BRP doesn't care about us or any thing other than making a profit. BLAH BLAH! What I can tell you is this, everyone I met from BRP was a quality individual. Like us the Spyder is their passion, they ryde, they listen, and they care. I for one am not going to listen to BRP bashing anymore. These are wonderful people, they have hearts, they care, they are compassionate. They put their money where their heart is!
Thank you BRP!
