• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The shipment of bacon has been delayed...

Be careful of Armadillos also.. I've heard it described as "hitting a bowling ball"! :yikes:

Did you hit it on your Spyder? I hit a large dog on a GSXR1100 years ago and that didn't go very well , a pig has a lot more weight than a dog. I hope your okay?

I was born in Kerrville, TX not to far from San Antonio.

Here is a picture, of a picture that I took at Deals Gap last June. I wouldn't want to hit this.

Jack, try this. Leaving Anthony, TX (just north of El Paso) on IH10, MM1 and stay on IH10 until you hit the TX/LA state line at MM 880. In June the Houston BMW club starts at MM880 at or before official sunup and stops at MM1 by official sunset.....rests a while and then rides another 120 for the Iron Butt award. Ya gotta keep moving to do this one as 10 runs through Houston, San Antonio and El Paso.....and you have around 13 hours to make it and watch out for the white tails.....

I hit an armadillo when I was at my last Daytona Bike Week. It did some SERIOUS damage to the rental car!

In this case though maybe instead of a deer whistle, a pig whistle may have been more appropriate!!

Travel update.

Tonight (Monday) I am in Monaca Lewinsky's boyfriends home town. 600 miles from San Antonio North /Northwest to get out of the costal rain. It worked. Ah, now for tomorrow. Total miles thus far 2800. Well at least I am pointed towards North Carolina. See ya'll. :riding:

Is Monica's boyfriend being mentioned in the "Texas Pig" thread for a reason?? :dontknow: :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

That' a hike for sure George. Been across Texas (East to West and West To East many times) And I know why they say Texas is Miles and miles of nothing but miles. Longest trip across was in a UHAUL from Jacksonville FL to Tucson. I thought we would never get there.
