• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Testing iPad

This is from my iPad w no tapatalk.

I don't use tapatalk for anything.

I dont don't know why I would need it?

No studying required. This is our 5th Apple device. Two iPhones, two iPads and a iPod Touch. I think I'll sell the Touch.

Sell the touch and get an ipod, fill it with music and plug it in and leave it there.

Why get an iPod when an iPhone holds plenty of songs.

My ipod holds thirty two gig of music (and i brought it one of those fancy high dollar leather holsters so it could hide in the back of my Spyder :hun:) now i can keep my iphone for other stuff and not have to keep plugging and unplugging it.

I may not know all i know about this subject but i am learning. :roflblack::roflblack:

I think I like using Safari on the iPad a little better because you can see graphics. Prolly still use Tapatalk on the iPhone though since it has such a small screen.

Never thought of that, I hardly use the iPhone for forum surfing...

I mount my iPod on the Spyder for music and leave my iPhone in my pocket, don't need to be using the phone while riding anyhow, and if I stop for gas or something I can check it easier than unhooking from bike.

The Touch is an iPod (only 16gB). I had that first and then my wife decided she needed a smart phone for work so we both got iPhones. Then she needed a iPad for work (library director) to be a little knowledgeable about them to answer patrons questions so I bought her a used one for a good price from a friend who had two. I liked hers and was in Best Buy today comparing iPads and Kindles and Googled iPad 2 and found Walmart online was $100 off but I never, ever shop there. After a little wrangling BB matched the price.
Boy how did we get here from a simple test post?
