Temperature Gauge is v e r y slow to change... are they all?

My Spyder is kept garaged. So; when I back it out of the garage on a 53 degree morning, the gauge is reading about 70 degrees (garage temp). It might take 30-40 minutes (28 miles to the office) for the gauge to catch up. But, I think it does read pretty accurate once it settles in.

Anyone else notice this?

Oh, yeah, you see, they wrapped the sensor in foam at the factory!

I wonder if it is because it measures pressure/temperature that it might take awhile to adjust. Just an Idea. I noticed that when I installed my fogs that is what they called it in the instructions.

Mine takes forever to change too.

Mine takes about 5 minutes to get to the correct temp (high 50s). We'll see how long it takes once we get into the cooler mornings.

Mine is pretty well Accurate within about 1 min. of leaving my garage...Usually about 70 in the Garage....by the time I get to the end of my Street...(Half a Block) it is down to 60...By the time I get to work....about 30 min. its down to about 49-51.....I feel the Temp. Changes and then look down....Seems my nipples and the Gauge are in Sink....:thumbup:

TOO MANY TOYS IN THE GARAGE, SO i LEAVE IT IN THE DRIVEWAY COVERED WITH A TARP AND THE TEMP IS ALWAYS CORRECT.
