• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tell me how to Change out light bulbs on 2015 ST-S?

Hello everyone. I am a new member but have had my ST-S since April 2014. It has 55,000 Kilometres on it and still runs like new.
I live on an acreage near St Albert, Alberta. I rode across Canada 6 years ago pulling a small cargo trailer for my gear, all without a problem. Now I have two burned out headlight bulbs. I have looked everywhere for a video on how to change these, with no luck so far. The dealer says it's best to have them do the change out as it is complicated. I think they are seeing $$$$$$$$$$$$ signs. I hope CanAm takes note of this because a simple thing like changing a light bulb should not be a complicated task.
Sooooo, has anyone out there taken on the task of changing these bulbs and can you tell me the steps to access them?

This photo was taken July 19th this year on a trip to Tofino B.C. on Vancouver Island.

I have done it three times. The only hard part is that the space is so small, and your hand is so big. Look in your owners manual on page 139 for pictures and instructions. If you no longer have the manual, go to "operatorsguides.brp.com"

Good Luck,
Roger

:agree: Adult size hands make it difficult especially caution to not touch halogen bulb glass. Not overly complicated, don’t drop anything. LEDs Last longer -maybe not same beam pattern, if not “clocked” also good time to really clean tight corners of dash:thumbup:

Thanks Roger. I will download the operators manual and see if it helps.
