• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Technically, Bob and I did not fail

I have two

Ok, serious question. Do you guys travel with a bike cover?

Yes, I have the full and half brp covers. On.y used a few times, but wouldn't leave home without them. Especially the half cover, if I had to pick one it would be the half no question. Quick on, covers all the important areas, easy off.

Does the half roll up pretty small? Will I use a whole saddle bag to store it?

The one for the RTs rolls up into a decently-small package. I'd imagine that one for your bike should be even a bit smaller!

Cargo room

Bob is right, takes up minimal space. Plus I am imagining that I'm going to have plenty of space on the road with the trailer. So your more than welcome to use it as well for odd ball items that we will only need in the evenings and the like. I'm honestly thinking I won't have half the trailer used.....

I do have a coup,e items on my mind.

That means that you'll have to fill it up with Farkles from SpyderFest!! :2thumbs:

Possibly a sway bar. Definitely want to add some spyder clothing to my return trip. And then whatever else fits in the budget.

Absolutely

I use the BRP 1/2 cover...110k using and it still looks like new. Another point during "art of the deal" to the F3...I'll will have to negotiate one for it...I consider the 1/2 a MUST HAVE for travel. Which is getting realllly close...10 days to "blast off"..headed to MO :yes:

Yes but only when the bike is parked. Too hard to keep the cover on at 70 mph. ;)

I have the Nelson Rigg cover.

And there's no challenge in keeping me from buying a new bike at Spyderfest. I just bought a car so the pockets are pretty empty right now.

In the wind lately, I've had trouble using my cover even when the bike is parked!

 Awwwwwwwwww....... :banghead:
So; what did you put on it?
(Let's start another thread about tires!!! :D)

A local Can Am dealer went out of business so they had the tires on sale 50% off. So it's good for another 12,000 mile. Cost me $20 to have it mounted on the rim and $11 to have it spin balance.
