• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Taking the Service Dog Along for the Ride

Love the pet carrier. Don't suppose you would have a plan of how it's constructed? Cheers KennW

I would be very interested in a plan/diagram on how you made itI

have spent a small fortune trying various carriers, using smaller pvc piping, etc, etc, etc
y
ou look like you may have come up with a good solutionan

d agreed - use tie downs on the bottoms to secure it to the passenger handles

Take your Malinois

Very cool. I wish my Belgian Malinois was a little smaller so I could take him with me as well. Your fortunate to be able to take your buddy with you when ever you want.

Be a good sport - let him drive.

Seriously, I have a Schipperke I would like to take along on rides on my RT-L. Any technical info on building/attaching something for her would be greatly appreciated.

He'd like to but he is a bit of a road hog and tends to go towards anything that's moving. Makes me nervous as his passenger.:D

Plastic plumbers pipe = PVC.......Mike
If you wanted to build it out of steel...
Buiding a "model" out of PVC first, would give you a chance to work the kinks out of the designs...

It's easier to work with a hacksaw, than wil REAL tools! :D

(This is NOT meant to minimize or demean the O.P.'s accomplishments; it's just a thought for anybody who prefers to work in metal... ;))

I did ok with PVC but there is no way I have enough talent to pull off doing it in steel (maybe playdough) lol

I found a lid on eBay and made this ride for our 45 lb dog. I just swap lids when the wife and I are using it. I know it's a little over the top but I really wanted the mutt to come along with us! Has he become used to it, no.
