• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Take the Spyder Golfing !

:f_spider:Must say I hadn't thought about that - I rather be out riding - however - my parents have a '57 chevy golf cart - see attach - bet you could figure something out with the Spyder! :D

Has anyone thought of a mod to attach a golf bag to your spyder?

Golf Bag

:agree: I wish somebody would! I golf 5 days per week and thought of that too.
Let me know if you come up with anything. :2thumbs:

My father-in-law is an avid golfer and he belongs to a country club. He has his own locker and they have storage for there for everyone's golf bag. I think they even clean his clubs for him when he gets done golfing. Just an idea... :D

Not so sure they will allow spyders on the course.. At least where I live they won't.

However, put a hitch on the spyder and hook up your hand pull golf carrier and away you go...

Um - I was only thinking of attaching them to the Spyder to get them TO the course - not to take the Spyder ON the course - :roflblack:

I put my golf bag on the back seat, and fastened it with a seat belt and a bicycle chain to the passenger back rest. I rode 30 miles on the interstate no problems. Just lay it across the back seat.

golf bag for Spyder

The course I play at doesn't offer any lockers or such. I always ryde my Spyder after golf, but I'd like to transport the bag of clubs to get there. That way I could get a little extra time with my Spyder. Maybe since the weather is getting nicer, I could just book tee time as early as I can then ride the rest of the day.

i just tie my bag like this for now but i am planing to have someone make a rack/passenger backrest combo.
make sure you tie the clubs together if you carry your bag like this thou,
i almost lost some clubs due to clubs jumping up and down inside the bag and tearing thru the rain cover.
