If you are looking for a little more light in back, May I suggest you take a look at the light running/reflector from Custom Dynamics. It surprised me at how bright the license plate bulb
Makes the red lens light stand out

No their ones are different than ours you will have to get one of these lights to fit the custom dynamics one on.

Thanks Bruce, hmm, might just cut a hole in mine and insert red lens/plastic.

I am curious as to the difference, so thanks for the part number!

PS I ambled out to the shed and my old spare RS number plate light is exactly the same as on the f3s - Made in Romania of all places! I think I shall find a small red lens, Dremel out part of the black plastic thingo and bob's my uncle. At least we have a spare to mess about with, in case it all goes horribly wrong.
