sync throttle body

Has anybody done a sync on there throttle body yet. If so what procedure did you use. Did you do it without having to hook up B U D S sys?

Yepper, done it twice. Once with a TwinMax and then, as a check a week later, with a new Morgan CarbTune... only because I couldn't find my mercury gauge.

I was looking for a solution to an uneven idle... that BUDS said was just dandy. :dontknow:

The factory settings were right on the mark. Be sure and read the service manual section (starting on page 251) about where to connect the vaccum hoses and how to electrically disconnect the MAPS sensor.

You can do it all from the left side without removing the air filter box... but it sure is easier if you do remove the entire box.

If you're talking about performance mods, then not much except for the pipe. I like my warranty.

Now, don't get me wrong, but... 93 octane gas. No bull. It's now at +/- 50, not +/- 200.

No comments about gas, PLEASE, from the peanut gallery! I wouldn't believe it, either, if it wasn't me.

Sync the throttle body again today after i cleaned my morgan carb tune. Works ok now and sync was easy. I have an idle 1400 to 1350 rpm.

wasn't that far off. Just like to know where all my stuff is at. Auto mechanic you now how it is. Checked my own valve clearance to know where that was too
