Swoosh - It's forever gone

Just spent over two hours writing about the adventures of picking up my Spyder, and the things learned while on the 1600 (+) mile ride home. Sadly, I did not save it, and when posted was prompted about not being signed in but, I was. I signed in as prompted.....but still it failed to post.

Disappointed I am. Because a story like that is never as good the second time around. DARN!:sour:

Most web servers have a 20 minute timeout set for the login session. Some are even shorter. If there is not activity like clicking a link or refreshing the page the server will log you out to free up the server memory. Tpying anything of any length you should always type it in notepad or something. I'm sure it will be good the second time. We're curious now.

Log in again and see if the editor saved it, it has a great auto save feature.

If not just let it be and write it again, we've all been there.

I like others have had that happen, so now I will just play it safe and hit control C every now and then, what ya ought to do is put a link from your original post here to your story. I am assuming the reason you purchased so far away was it was an incredible offer you got?
