• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

084A9B82-E048-4796-9FDD-A39EECFD5149.jpgHi! Dan Here. Traded my 950 Vstar with a Voyager conversion for a 2011 Spyder RT. Voyager was too hard to steer for an old man like me and rode too rough. Liking my Spyder and the ride is great - still getting used to the handling - rode 2 wheels for over 50 years so it's a big change. Did build 3 VW trikes back in the 70's but didn't handle like the Spyder does. Just takes time. Great forum here....

Welcome and congrats on your choice. We've both reached the age (or the leading edge of it at least) where three wheels is more comfortable and safer. We exchanged a pair of two wheel machines for a pair of new-to-us Spyders and are very pleased with the results. We ride more now than we have in several years and that's what it's all about. :)

Congrats

Lots of info and interesting posts here . Yes they are a bit different at first , but soon you won't even think about that . Enjoy !:riding:

I made the switch from a 2004 V-Star 1100 a couple of weeks ago and two days later rode from Michigan to Massachusetts. It was an awesome ride!
