• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saturday I was out on my Vulcan 900. I pulled out of a gas station and a crotch rocket pulled out behind me. When I got a break at the light I pulled out on the highway behind another ryder on a HD. Within a minute the Rocket blasted by both of us at high speed, loud pipes screaming. Next light he got caught in traffic, it took him two more lights before he came blasting past us again. But that was his undoing because as he went whizzing under an overpass there was a city cop on the other side. Yep, he got him.:2thumbs::yes:

Oh Yes

Sit down, let me tell you a tale........
I was riding on 40W to Charlotte to visit dear stepson one Saturday afternoon and was running about 70 or so. The road just outside Kannapolis was undergoing some severe construction and down the right side was a row of those inverted T concrete barriers.
I was in the right lane mindin' my own business with two open lanes to my left and an off ramp rapidly approaching when into my left peripheral vision came this bloody great black Navigator which got about two thirds past me when it swerved right to force us both to dive for the off ramp.
I was on the Trident 900 and found out right quick how good those brakes actually were.
At the head of the offramp were 4 lanes and she left me the far left for me to pull up, stop, beat the brickdust out of the driver's tinted window which eventually lowered.
"Are you blind, deaf, stupid or all of the above...???"
The reply was a middle finger and squealing tyres.
There's a fundamental law of physics that states that red lights attract blue lights.
Waiting at the head of one of the lanes was a State Patrol who took off and pulled her before she'd gone a hundred yards. I pulled up behind the SP car and waited.
It wasn't another 30 seconds before there was another SP behind me. Apparently he'd been about a hundred yards behind the near collision and had seen everything.
The Officer's parting words after I'd told them my story were "don't worry about a thing, sir, we'll take care of everything."
I drove the Triumph home and parked it where it still stands.

And now I have my beautiful Spyder on which I can be better seen and the weather here is great.......it was worth the wait.

Ah yes, the Trident. NICE!!!! So she made you #1, doesn't that make you feel real good :cus: :cus:. Actually had that happen to me today. Waiting to pull out of a side road, driver in car behind my 8500lb E250 work van gets impatient and starts blowing the horn. Never mind that an 18 wheeler is coming. So after the big truck passes, I pull out and the impatient lady behind squeels out into the left lane and she and her female passenger make me #1 as they pass me. All this to go 100 yards and get stopped by a red light at the next intersection, while I turn right down the next road and go on my merry way.

What???!!!! You didn't at least honk and wave as you turned???!!! :roflblack: And I don't mean a one-fingered wave..... ;)

Anytime I get flipped of, I smile and thank them for the offer and ask for their address. Especially if their husband is close.
