• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SuperTrapp vs. Leo Vince vs. Micron

My Micron is too loud for me. (Headaches reverberate up into my full face helmet.)
Others have said to check out the Leo Vince or the tunable SuperTrapp.

Can someone please steer me in the right direction?
I liked the powerband that the Micron gave, but not the decible level.
The SuperTrapp sounds attractive with it's tunable baffle plates.

A Hindle is not in the running? Hindles look nice and are quieter than Microns.

Yepper, Micron is definitely loud.

Unfortunately, the 17" Supertrapp is also loud with the right amount of disks in to let it breathe... 6-7 minimum. Last weekend, I quietened the Trapp down a bit by using only four disks. However, the downside showed up at 8k rpm and up. On heavy accelleration, it seemed to "hit a wall" at 8k... took a while for it to climb to 9.5k rpm... wasn't breathing enough.

I'm putting the Hindle back on in a few hours to compare while the Trapp's performance is fresh on my mind.

From a performance perspective so far, the very quiet, very large, Yamaha Warrior muffler seems to be the best IMHO... it charges forward all the way past red line in a very strong manner.

Just my $0.02.
