Stupid things I've done on a road trip

Riding from California to Kansas got real tired early in the morning so laid down to get some shut-eye. Woke up about noon feeling great! Fired up the bike and started riding.

Beautiful day, making great time, just enjoying the freedom and the great view. Hardly any traffic. Just couldn't ask for more.

About 60 miles down the Interstate I noticed it said I-40 WEST!

It took me about 2 hours and 120 miles to get back to where I'd started that day. Felt really stupid. If it had been earlier or later I'd have known from where the sun was.

I still wonder how many WEST signs I'd passed before I noticed one.

Out fishing stopped the boat in the middle of the lake went to throw the anchor over the side, It went a little short, Put a nice speed hole in the bottom.
Hey whats the sense of being Stupid, If you don't show it every now and then. hyea:

I've seen many boaters throw out the anchor and forgot one thing? To tie off the other end of the line. :yikes:

I spit it out as fast as I could and grabbed a bottle of water to rinse my mouth.

I got a mouthful of gasoline while trying to siphon gas through a hose when I was in my early 20's. The taste was so bad and so long lasting that I learned to never to that again (47 and counting).

:roflblack::roflblack: I was on vacation a couple of years ago. Woke up in the morning and went to brush my teeth.opened my toilet bag and took out a small tube of toothpaste squeezed on to my brush,started brushing. Oh terrible taste. looked at the tube to my horror it was Preparation "H"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This story reminds me of one time (about 20 years ago) when my Father in law spent the weekend at the house, and I walked by and saw him brushing his teeth. Thought nothing of it until later when he asked what kind of tooth paste we used. My wife told him, and asked why. He said because it had a nasty taste to it. We never told him, but he used the diaper guard we had for my daughter.
