• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As a famous American folk hero once said. So my friend and I rode the Mirror Lake Highway on Saturday. It was a great ride. Afterwards I put the Spyder in the trailer. I put it too far in and couldn't open the frunk so I thought I'll just release the parking brake and let it roll back a little. Yeah it rolled back ok and I couldn't stop it so it chased me out of the trailer and rolled over me and the end result is a broken right foot and 6 weeks of no riding:gaah::lecturef_smilie: Fortunately it wasn't worse P1080671.jpgP1080674.jpg

OMG , so sorry to hear this bad news ..... heal quick .....and never do that maneuver again ...... Mike

Feel better soon. I did roughly the same thing with my truck last year. Thought I put it into park. Actually put it into reverse. Got out. The door knocked me down, the tire ran over my foot. Truck kept going through the intersection, finally stopped by a tree. I chased it on my side of the street. A nearby jogger chased it on the other side. No joy.

Egads Peg, sorry to hear that, did that already with my 2020, no fun, but no damage, chased it down when it drifted into the grass. Amazing how that sucker can get away so quickly.

Heal up---- Our old bones don't heal up as quick as they used to. Stay healthy----- In these strange times good health is of utmost importance.

While any injury is bad news, the one I hate the most is anything involving the feet. We never know how important mobility is until ours gets handicapped by an injury. I'm sending you some spare mojo for a quick recovery.

I believe it says in the Owners Manual somewhere that if you must release the parking brake to move/push your Spyder......BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE WHERE THE BRAKE PEDAL IS. :banghead::banghead:

Get well soon. Also, get some Aspercream Roll-on for your foot. It's great stuff. I used it for my bruised ribs and for my chest after my triple-bypass.

Bummer timing, partner, but prayers up for a quick and complete recovery. It's amazing how much we take those things at the ends of our legs for granted until we have a problem with 'em.
