• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

stupid air filter question

Good morning everyone. I'm installing a new K&N air filter from LaMonster and it doesn't want to go in all the way. I know it's a snug fit but does it have to be turned a certain way or just shove it in. Already did the oil change and next is the fuel filter change which I should have done when I did the oil change but I didn't have it when I did the oil change. Chilly here in Chicagoland today. Thanks, Mike

No stupid questions....

Not familiar with your model but I do know on mine there is a certain way and if it sits to high and will not close flip the filter over and it should drop in. If it is to tight you may have to take a razor blade and trim the rubber a bit as some times there are injection points left on them.....

Thanks, it was just the k&n sticks out s little more, when I screwed the cover on it was fine. Now for the fuel filter. Thanks again, Mike
